To begin the admissions process for official undergraduate programs—and depending on your prior academic background—you must meet the requirements established by Spanish university regulations.
Students with a high school diploma from a country outside the EU or without a partnership agreement
For students with a foreign high school diploma from a country that is NOT a member of the European Union or from countries with which Spain has bilateral agreements, their foreign high school diploma must be recognized as equivalent to the corresponding Spanish diploma. You will be able to obtain “conditional admission” from UNEATLANTICO once you have submitted your application for recognition to the Spanish authorities (the Spanish Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence).
International students with completed or uncompleted university degrees
For foreign students who have completed an official university degree, as well as those who have not yet completed a degree equivalent to a Licenciatura, Bachelor's, or similar degree, a university degree is required if they have completed their studies, along with an academic transcript showing the grades earned during those studies. To be admitted, you must have at least 30 credits (ECTS) recognized and transferred by UNEATLANTICO in order to be eligible for admission through this modality.
Students with a high school diploma from the EU, China, Norway, Switzerland, or countries with a partnership agreement
In the case of students who have earned a high school diploma in the European Union, the People’s Republic of China, Norway, Switzerland, or other countries with bilateral agreements, a high school diploma, baccalaureate, or certificate of completed secondary education is required, as well as the “admission credential” issued by the National University of Distance Education (UNED).
Students with an International Baccalaureate (IB) or European Baccalaureate
If you have an International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) or an European Baccalaureate diploma, you can gain access to UNEATLANTICO by obtaining the admission credential issued by the National University of Distance Education (UNED).
