One of the key objectives of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico is to promote the participation of all members of the university community in exchange, cooperation, and mobility programs among the various countries that make up the EU through Erasmus agreements. The European Erasmus+ program for teaching mobility (STA) and training mobility (STT) is aimed at faculty and researchers at institutions of higher education, with the goal of facilitating short-term stays abroad that include teaching and/or training activities.
The overall objective is to promote international faculty mobility as an integral part of the institution’s internationalization strategy.
STA (Staff Mobility for Teaching)
The STA program allows faculty members to teach at partner institutions of higher education within their area of expertise. Through these visits, faculty members share knowledge, methodologies, and academic experiences with students and faculty at the host institution.
This approach not only helps to enhance the quality of teaching but also promotes the exchange of best teaching practices and the establishment of academic ties between institutions. It also helps raise the Universidad Europea del Atlántico’s international profile and provides a firsthand look at the operations, academic offerings, and unique features of the host university’s educational system.
STT (Staff Mobility for Training)
The STT program is designed to provide training for teaching and non-teaching staff through stays abroad. These may include activities such as courses, workshops, observation periods, or visits to partner institutions and companies.
The main objective is to improve the participants’ professional, pedagogical, and organizational competencies, as well as to promote the exchange of experiences and the learning of new ways of working. In addition, these exchange programs help strengthen international cooperation among institutions and promote improvements in the management and development of student exchange programs.
