Author, editor and co-author of more than 10 books and dozens of articles in national and international journals. He has signed more than 100 opinion pieces and he is a common lecturer in Spain, Europe and America.

María Alonso García

She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Oviedo, a Master’s degree in General Health Psychology from the European University of the Atlantic, and is a specialist in Psychonutrition and Eating Disorders, as well as a University Expert in Autism Spectrum Disorder. She currently combines her teaching role with her professional practice in the field of health psychology, focusing on psychotherapy with adults and couples. She is also head of the neuromodulation department at Clínica MHS in Santander, where she carries out treatments using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS); this is currently the first and only centre in Cantabria to offer this technology.

D. in biochemistry and cellular and molecular biology in the field of health sciences (especially breast cancer). She has started to get involved in the study of nutrition applied to health. She has experience in laboratories in several countries, has trained final year and PhD students and has participated in courses, congresses and conferences. She has worked in several research projects and has published several scientific articles.
