Master's Degree in Language Teaching and Teaching of Languages, specialising in German, USAL. Master's and Postgraduate Degree in Literary Translation specialising in English>Spanish/German>Spanish from ISTRAD. PhD candidate in Comparative Literature and Literary Studies at the UPV and student of the Degree in Philosophy at the UNED. Extensive experience in language teaching combined with work in the translation, interpreting and project management sectors.

He was nominated as general interventor of the Cantabria Government on February 2018. Before, he was the manager of the Agencia Cántabra de Administración Tributaria or president of the board of directors of the Sociedad Regional Coordinadora de Empresas Públicas.

Graduate in Hispanic Philology, UNED, Master in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, UC-CIESE Comillas and PhD in Hispanic Philology, UAB. He has taught at university level in different centres. He is also a teacher trainer and postgraduate lecturer on the Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, UC-CIESE Comillas and the Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching, UNEATLANTICO. He is a member of several research groups.
