His research interests combine telecommunication infrastructures (Telecommunication Networks, Multimedia and Internet of Things - IoT) together with the digital transformation (Artificial Intelligence and predictive systems, Cyber-Security) of the business fabric, mainly for eHealth, Industry4.0, Energy and Agro areas.

As Chef Owner of the Restaurant El Serbal, Santander, Cantabria, he obtained from 2003 the Michelin Star recognition, combining from 2004 his work as Chef Owner of the Restaurant El Nuevo Molino, Puente Arce, Cantabria, obtaining also the Michelin Star recognition in this last restaurant from 2008.
