Professor of Physiology at the University of Granada directing the line of aging and redox biology since 2003. Editor of the book "Olive oil and health. 2006" (Grupo editorial CABI.) In 2019 recognized as "Highly Cited Researcher" by Clarivate.
Industrial Engineer and PhD in Automation and Robotics from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, where he has made several teaching collaborations and developing his professional activity as a researcher at the Center for Automation and Robotics: CAR (CSIC - UPM) through various national and European projects in the scientific-technological areas of Control Engineering, Artificial Perception, Intelligent Robots and Applied Robotics, and Human-Machine Interfaces.
