He holds a Ph.D. in Marine Sciences and has taught at the University of Cantabria from 2000 to 2018 and at the European University of the Atlantic from 2019 to the present, publishing numerous articles and participating in R&D projects that led to his accreditation as a Full Professor by ANECA (2016). He has professional experience in management positions in public administration and in public and private companies related to transportation and logistics.
PhD in Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management, with postgraduate qualifications in International Development Cooperation and Technologies Applied to Foreign Language Teaching. Over 20 years’ professional experience in internationalisation, foreign trade, business development, international cooperation and the internationalisation of higher education in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia.

Throughout her academic career, she has received various scholarships and awards for academic excellence. As a researcher in the field of communication and language models, she has published academic papers focusing on communication and social media.
