His primary line of research focuses on female athletes, specifically analyzing the physiological impact of the phases of the menstrual cycle on performance, recovery, and markers of fatigue. In terms of scholarly output, he is the author of 10 articles published in specialized journals in the field.

PhD degree on “Food, Health and Drug”, Specialization in Food Science, she is Associate Professor in Food Science and Nutrition at the Polytechnic University of Marche (Italy). She is the author of about 300 papers in international peer-reviewed journals. During the years 2019-2024, she has been named a Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researcher and listed in the World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds. She has an extensive experience in field of biochemistry and nutrition, in the evaluation of the role of dietary bioactive compounds on human health, and in particular on the biological mechanisms related to oxidative stress and inflammation.

Co-author of the book *Marketing del Futbol* (Sector-Specific Marketing – Ediciones Pirámide – 2003). Extensive experience in sales and marketing at companies in the telecommunications sector and in strategic consulting at the national and international levels, helping companies and entrepreneurs launch their innovations using the Lean Startup methodology.
