Description

This project seeks to improve the practical training of nutritionists, combining nutrition with agronomy, thanks to a nutritionally sensitive approach. The project team seeks to disseminate knowledge about human nutrition and promote social engagement of students. The project is based on the mission to improve people's health through better nutrition education.

Considering the situation in Angola, characterized by a lack of nutritionists and nutrition education, chronic malnutrition, food insecurity, and the need to develop primary health care, the Angolan partners are determined to integrate the results of this project into the curricula, with a clear social impact: improving the number of nutritionists and the competencies of professionals, in particular dietetic education, to positively impact the nutritional status of the Angolan population.
