He holds a law degree from the University of Almería and has been a practicing attorney with the Cantabria Bar Association since 2002. Since February 2025, he has served as Dean of the Bar Association and as a member of the General Council of the Spanish Bar Association, participating in the advisory, judicial administration relations, and technological innovation committees. He is currently Vice President of the Professional Union of Cantabria, Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Caja Cantabria Foundation, President of the Board of Trustees of the School of Legal Practice, and a member of the Cantabrian Consumer Council.

BA in English Philology (Deusto), MA and PhD in Hispanic Linguistics from The Ohio State University (2017) with a thesis on copula processing in Spanish. He has taught both at university level and in secondary education, both in Spain and in the USA. Researcher in theoretical syntax and semantics, as well as the interface between structure, meaning and language processing.

Pablo de Olavide) and PhD in Translation and Interpreting (U. Pablo de Olavide). Her research focuses on new technologies applied to translation and interpreting, specialty languages and web localization.

With a professional career focused on health care in the Padre Menni Hospital Center, applying both theoretical and practical knowledge. Responsible for the coordination of the INICIA Project, a socio-labor reintegration program for people affected by a mental health problem. In addition to conducting outpatient consultations with children and adolescents.

With a background in new information technologies and generative artificial intelligence, she champions Journalism with a capital “J” from the front lines of integrity and democratic values. She loves teaching and has founded “Humania Comunicación Sanitaria,” a consulting firm and training school that helps companies and organizations humanize healthcare and, in turn, improve our world.

Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Neuropsychology, and a Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology, and is currently a doctoral candidate in Medicine and Health Sciences. Works in the field of neurorehabilitation for acquired brain injury and neurodegenerative disorders, combining clinical practice with neuroscience research, public outreach, and participation in scientific publications and national and international conferences.
